Last day of festivities.

Hey everyone,

Here we are on our final day of mission Arlington and everyone is sad to leave but glad we have one more chance to pour into the lives of kids. Yesterday was our salvation talk day and several of our groups had kids come to Christ. It was an incredible day where we ended it with a lit of encouraging words from everyone and van 1 and van 4 got into an impromptu mock gang fight. It was awesome. Can't wait to see everyone this evening although we are sad to leave.

Yesterday was another great day. Here are sole quick videos and pics showing some of our fun times with kids and at the rangers game. We left before the end of the game so they definitely won last night.

Day 2

Hey everyone,

We had a great first day of rainbow express. Our first site we had no one show up to but after 20 or so minutes of praying and going around the apartments again we were given the opportunity to minister to two awesome kids for the rest of our time.

After some rest and a sandwich we went to our second site and had close to 50 kids show up and things were lively to say the least. Keep praying for our energy as it is definitely hot out there and we are doing our best to stay hydrated but that is a hard battle to fight.

Hey parents,

We are here and doing well and ready for our first full day of rainbow express. We have handed out thousands of flyers and we can't wait to hang out with kids tomorrow in the blessed Texas heat.

My van was pulling the trailer and we got stuck in the middle of a narrow parking lot of an apartment as we were passing out flyers but about 100 forward and backwards moves later and unhooking and rehooking the trailer up we pulled it off and were on our way. Our kids are doing a great job and they are pumped about going out.

We have arrived in Arlington and our teams are rounding up kids for Sunday morning bible studies. It is warm, but our students are doing a great job!

We had a great morning! All the kids are wishing they could stay longer. It is never easy leaving kids that you have come to love! Pray for us as we head out to our last location! We should be home by 7pm...hopefully 6:30!

First night

What a great day! We are a part of over 1300 missionaries working at Mission Arlington this week. There will be a rainbow express in over 160 apartment complexes. I can't wait to see what God does. Tonight we ate at cici's and then had our first time at Fielder Road. Here is a pic from cici's and our instruction time at fielder.

Well we have made it to Arlington and we have already started our times with kids in apartments. My team is at a complex that has tons of kids. There are around 25 kids and we are getting ready to start singing songs and telling them about Jesus! Thanks for your prayers!

All is well here in Arlington. Be praying for our kids as they share the salvation story with the children. Here is a picture of Sammy. One cool thing is that sammy's dad is hanging out with us and he actually went to rainbow express when he was a kid! His name is David. Pray that we would be an influence on him as well!
